lyrics
In a matter of minutes
There’s something I want you to know by now
Let’s grab a quick sandwich
And make up no rules to go by now
Lately
I’ve been thinking
If you agree
That maybe we could see if
You & me
On Mondays I lick your knees ‘til three
And smash kyriarchy on Tuesdays
Until we feel dizzy
You say you don’t like surfing
But there’s no sense in diving in too deep
Whatever I don’t know now
Forever I won’t know how sea bears feel
And maybe we could see if
You & me
On Mondays I lick your knees ‘til three
And smash kyriarchy on Tuesdays
Until we feel dizzy
In secrecy
She said to me
What’s soon to be
Maybe
If you agree
In secrecy
She said to me
If you agree
In secrecy
I’ll lick your knees
Maybe

The sound of Iceland at night. Cold and gloomy but with a danceable pulse. Need to make a full visit someday. Fun fact: IcelandAir had their albums on the flight music selection. heavenorli
Across their second full-length, the London post-punks offer up thrumming motoriks, industrial tones, and sullen sing-a-longs in abundance. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 17, 2024

This was a stand out song when I had the pleasure of seeing JFDR perform with Ólafur Arnalds in Manchester in 2022. I love discovering new artists, and JFDR was a rare find. cloudbustingdad
